Egger darf rumänische Leimfabrik bauen

Die Pläne für die Leimfabrik des Tiroler Holzwerkstoffeproduzenten in Radauti/Rumänien haben die Umweltverträglichkeitsprüfung bestanden. Der Baubeginn für den letzten Teil des großen Egger-Werks in Rumänien rückt damit in greifbare Nähe.
Seit Anfang 2009 lief die Umweltverträglichkeitsprüfung („Environmental Impact Assessment procedure“) für das Werk. Zum Prüfungsprocedere gehörte neben den üblichen Verfahren auch eine öffentliche Anhörung.
Die Egger România kann nun beginnen, das mit einer Investitionssumme von 40 Millionen Euro veranschlagte Projekt umzusetzen. Allein 8 Millionen davon werden in Einrichtungen fließen, die die Umweltverträglichkeit der Anlage sicherstellen sollen.
Die Bauzeit wird voraussichtlich eineinhalb bis zwei Jahre betragen. Davor müssen allerdings noch einige kleinere Genehmigungsverfahren abgeschlossen sein.
