Das seit 1875 bestehende Wolfsberger Traditionsunternehmen „FKP Holzverarbeitungs GmbH“ muss Konkurs anmelden. Grund ist laut Unternehmensangaben die Absatzschwäche auf dem italienischen Markt.
Seit Generationen stellt der Betrieb von Familie Pauscha in Wolfsberg Barriquefässer, Lagerfässer und Gärfässer her. Nun macht die Wirtschaftskris auch vor dem seit 135 Jahren bestehenden Unternehmen nicht Halt. Im Konkursantrag heißt es "hohe Investitionskosten und Umsatzeinbrüche als Folge der Wirtschaftskrise und Probleme mit ehemaligen Handelsvertretern in Italien" hätten zum Konkurs geführt.
Laut Informationen des Alpenländischen Kreditorenschutzverbandes betragen die Passiva 3,2 Millionen Euro, die Aktiva 1,9 Millionen Euro. Rund 100 Gläubiger sind betroffen. Alleingesellschafter und Geschäftsführer Klaus Pauscha, der das Unternehmen seit 1990 führt, möchte sich aber für den Erhalt des Betriebes und der 14 Arbeitsplätze einsetzen. Er plant einen Zwangsausgleich.
